We are Dave and Melissa Jones, a husband and wife wedding and portrait photography team based in Rochester, NY. Our style of photography is candid and real, simple and fresh – a mix of classic portraiture with modern photojournalism. We like to have fun and so do our clients. We think that the experience you have with your photographer is just as important as your photos. We are available to travel worldwide to wherever your wedding plans take you!

When we’re not taking pictures, we love sharing a pot of coffee in the morning, hiking with our dog Bella, going to concerts, road-tripping in our Jeep, and spending as much time with our friends and families as possible.

Steve + Kristen :: Married!

We were thrilled to kick off the Spring season with Steve + Kristen’s wedding! April showers were persistent, but that never dampened their spirits. Here’s a quick peek of their day.

We loved that they decided to do a first look before the ceremony. The moment they shared together was so beautiful and full of emotion.

They braved the elements with us so we could take advantage of the gorgeous grounds at Irondequoit Country Club.

Congratulations Kristen and Steve, we are so happy for you! Thank you for having us be a part of your amazing wedding day!

Meg + Tom :: Engaged!

Here are the Epic Engagement contest winners! We had a great time collaborating with the talented Sara Lovell on this project. For this stylized engagement session we got to work with Meg and Tom to create a fun, inspired shoot. What we learned about this awesome couple was that they are both wonderfully creative and unique and their love story is beautiful. They have been through some tough times, but what carried them through it was that they had each other to lean on. I love the way these two look at each other. Here are a few of our favorite frames.
