Elise + Trevor’s Wedding at Glendoveers | Ellison Park and Three Heads Brewing

Elise and Trevor had an amazing wedding day filled with smiles, laughter, great friends, and true love.

We had been keeping an eye on the radar as rain was in the forecast for the afternoon, however it seemed to hold off just for us. Our first stop was to Elise’s childhood home for their first look! If you’re planning a wedding I suggest you consider a first look. Doing a first look with just the bride and groom or in this case just the bridal party creates a wonderful, personal and beautiful moment. The emotion shines through when you remove the nerves of seeing each other for the first time in front of everyone. Plus it allows us to do family and bridal party photos before your ceremony so you can spend the time after becoming Mr. + Mrs. celebrating!

I knew right away that these 2 were my perfect clients when they asked me to set up a time to do some bridal party photos at one of my favorite breweries! They hopped on the limo and we headed straight to Three Heads Brewing for a few pints, flights and some photos amongst the huge 90 bbl fermenters housed in this amazing brewery. Special thanks to Dave, Geoff, Dan and Todd!!!

After a couple beers we headed down to Ellison Park and took advantage of the beautiful weather as the rain continued to hold off. The excitement of the upcoming ceremony shined through in their smiles, you could feel their connection and love for each other.

I was so excited when they contacted me and said they were not only from my hometown of  Penfield but were also getting married there. They picked a beautiful venue along the Irondequoit creek surrounded by Ellison Park  called Glendoveers. I had photographed weddings there before several years ago and always remember loving it, but this time they had re-done the inside of the venue making it even more outstanding.  The property is wide open grass overlooking the creek and acres of untouched land, this is where they decided to have their wedding ceremony.

As the ceremony began, so did the rain. I love love love that Elise and Trevor decided to continue on with their plans to be married outside against this amazing back drop. The rain couldn’t keep them from having their perfect ceremony and certainly didn’t take away from the emotion of such a beautiful moment.

Thank you again for having me be a part of your wedding day, I’m truly glad to know you guys! Congratulations! Here’s to many many happy years!
