I was thrilled when I first met Margaret and Bryan! We sat for a cup of coffee and chatted about their vision and details for their upcoming wedding. I could immediately feel how close, and how in love they were. Their eyes were filled with excitement at the topic of marriage, or frankly anything that involved them being together. They had these hilarious ideas of dressing for the beach and sitting outside in the snow under an umbrella for their engagement session, and save the dates. They were truly happy together, telling stories of how they’ve know each other since elementary school and tales of crazy drives just to be together. I started to realize how lucky I was to have met this couple, and how extremely happy I was for the opportunity to capture their love!
If you know much about me you know I enjoy craft beer and have been lucky enough to photograph several local breweries for a magazine called BeerAdvocate. Naturally when Bryan mentioned he was interested in doing some of their engagement photos at Trip Hammer Bier Werks in Fairport I was all about it! We met up at the brewery and had a blast, dog included 🙂
After a beer we wandered around the adjacent buildings and found some amazing places for photos!
The wedding day began as the snow fell at ‘7 on Strath’ where the ladies were getting their hair and makeup done and enjoying the anticipation of what turned into an amazing day! The details Margaret put together were beautiful, the dress, the shoes, the jewelry, all perfect. The morning was filled with smiles and laughter as the ladies got ready to head over to Chapel Hill for the ceremony.
After the ceremony we headed to Three Heads Brewing for some photos of the bridal party and of course some craft beer!
Bryan and Margaret were welcomed in to the reception with love, with sparklers lighting the background and their bridal party braving the cold this beautiful couple was ready to celebrate! The evening was a welcome continuation of the day, love filled the air as the party began. What an amazing group of people, their families both warm and inviting. Their friends excited to share in the celebration of an event that anyone who has met this couple knew was sure to come.
Congratulations again Bryan and Margaret! Thank you for having me be a part of your beautiful wedding day, I hope you can relive your wedding day through these images for years and years! I’m very lucky and very thankful to have met you both, your love is inspiring.
Here’s to many beers 😉
Cheers!
