Loveshoot Sneak Peak: Chris + Lara

Chris and Lara were our Loveshoot winners. Chris wrote the winning entry and the way that he described the love that he had for his fiance really pulled at my heartstrings. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is the ability to document loved shared between two people.

Here is a little snippet of what he submitted.

“Lara changed my life from the moment she entered it, which was a change I had been waiting and hoping for, for quite a while. It’s been a quick year and half and I’m sure like a lot of other couples we’ve faced tough times together and wonderful memories, but I wouldn’t give any of it up and wouldn’t want to face the future without her. Lara and I have a lot planned for this year; planning a wedding, buying a house, having our first child, and it’s oftentimes hard to take a moment to enjoy the small moments.”

Chris and Lara are expecting their first child in June and I have to say that Lara was absolutely glowing.

They are planning to marry in October and they also just bought their first home. With everything that is going on, you can tell that they are just excited to start the rest of their lives together.

We headed down to the lake to grab some shots just as the sun was setting.
